Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services is seeking a Loan Officer to build customer relationships and grow the farm loan portfolio. You will assess loan needs, analyze financials, and provide tailored lending solutions for agricultural operations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of agribusiness or agriculture credit experience, with a solid grasp of loan products and farm finance concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; agribusiness or related field preferred.
• 1+ year experience in agribusiness or agriculture credit.
• Knowledge of loan products and credit operations.
• Understanding of farm business management, finance and macroeconomics.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers to grow the loan portfolio.
• Analyze loan requests in collaboration with Credit Analysts.
• Maintain a sales database and prospect new customers.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting, and insurance specialists to offer financial services.
• Differentiate GreenStone as the go-to provider for farm financial needs.
• Contribute to GreenStone's community presence and customer service excellence.
