Qualifications

• College degree (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of agri business underwriting experience writing small to medium sized commercial risks.
• Completion of technical insurance coursework preferred, such as AFIS, CPCU, AU, ARM, CRM or CIC.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for agri business insurance, assess overall risk attributes, appropriate pricing, and determine fit within company guidelines and policies.
• Develop new business opportunities by building strong agency relationships; retain a strong renewal book and manage the book to profitability.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines for service and authority.
