Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA is seeking three volunteers to support the Pikes Peak Region, Leadville, Buena Vista and Trinidad communities in aging services and outreach. This role offers hands-on nonprofit experience and the chance to contribute to meaningful programs.

You will develop educational content, outreach materials, calendars, recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies for advisory councils, collaborating with aging experts and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a college education or degree.
• Experience in communications, outreach, or volunteer management is a plus.
• Interest in aging services and nonprofit work.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials and outreach calendars for recruiting and onboarding Regional Advisory Council members.
• Create education classes and podcast outreach materials targeting older adults.
• Support retention and recruitment strategies for advisory councils.
