Job summary

The Singh Lab at UCSF is seeking a motivated Specialist to join our research program focused on aging biology, genomics, and AI/ML. We integrate scRNA-seq and other multi-omics with advanced machine learning to understand genomic changes driving aging and age-related diseases, using African killifish as a model system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years research experience for Junior Specialist.
• Master's degree or 3+ years research experience for Assistant Specialist.
• Master's or 5–10 years experience for Associate Specialist.
• Doctoral degree or 10+ years experience for Full Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Engage in interdisciplinary AI/ML, high-throughput and single-cell multi-omics projects.
• Perform molecular biology techniques and genome editing tasks as needed.
• Analyze scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq and spatial-RNA-seq data to uncover aging-related patterns.
