Job summary

VTG is seeking an Agile System Engineer II in Chantilly, VA to bridge mission needs with technical requirements and delivery execution within an Agile framework.

You will lead decomposition of requirements into features and user stories, maintain traceability, and collaborate with Product Owners to refine priorities. A Bachelor's degree and 5–9 years of experience are expected, along with TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and 5–9 years of experience.
• Experience applying Agile within complex systems engineering.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability and verification artifacts.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Knowledge of CONOPS and architecture artifacts is a plus.
• Certifications (CSM/SAFe) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead decomposition of operational and system requirements into Agile features and user stories.
• Maintain requirements traceability across backlog, architecture, and verification artifacts.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlog priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Support system design reviews, interface coordination, and integration planning.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Support verification, validation, and system readiness activities.
• Contribute to development of CONOPS, architecture artifacts, and system documentation.
