Job summary

Kestra Holdings is seeking a talented Scrum Master to support our Data, Analytics & AI Platform group in Austin, TX. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and remove impediments to drive predictable delivery across distributed time zones.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as Scrum Master, strong Jira experience, and a track record enabling agile maturity. Kestra offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Scrum Master experience.
• 5+ years of overall technology experience.
• Certified Scrum Master (preferred).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Experience with Jira, including Jira Service Management is preferred.
• Experience with distributed teams across time zones.
• Experience with data lifecycle & pipelines, batch vs streaming delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, release planning).
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain backlog health and value-driven delivery.
• Identify and remove impediments and risks impacting team performance.
• Coordinate dependencies across distributed teams and time zones.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and self-organization.
• Promote accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
• Lead release planning and delivery process improvements.
• Use Agile metrics to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Promote best practices for predictable delivery and technical debt management.
