Required Security Clearance: U.S. government‑issued Interim Secret clearance prior to the start date.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant‑based leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART).
- Identify and elevate blockers to upper‑level leadership, facilitating barrier removal for the ART.
- Improve team agile execution through process improvement opportunities and data‑driven decisions.
- Ensure agile teams follow established processes and agile methodologies.
- Schedule and drive coordination of agile team scrum masters through Scrum of Scrums.
- Ensure product owners establish effective scope definitions and clear acceptance criteria for team products and services.
- Schedule and facilitate increment planning and review events in a scaled agile team environment.
- Ensure sprint plans and day‑to‑day execution align with program and customer priorities.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to deliver products and services on time and meeting agreed acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Cross Product Team leads on staffing decisions and rotations.
- Identify and track internal and external dependencies required to deliver products and services.
- Coach agile team execution processes and mentor team agile leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (unless prohibited by local law).
- Experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering/Development/Testing, or System Requirements definition and analysis.
- Proficient in at least one of the following programming or modeling tools: MATLAB, C/C++, Ada, Java, or DOORS.
- Strong knowledge of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Release Train Engineer is preferred.
- Experience running or attending Agile ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
- Experience engaging with cross‑functional teams, including multi‑disciplinary team leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, management, and customers.
- Ability to make data‑driven decisions in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Experience with agile management and engineering tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, and Coverity.
- Preferred certifications: SAFe Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, or related industry certification.
- Preferred domain knowledge: XBR, AN/TPY‑2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP, or radar data processing.
- Additional preference for experience on Advanced Radar or Missile Defense & Sensor Systems.
