Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to represent stakeholders, elicit and document business needs, and align IT delivery with strategic goals. You will manage backlog, validate features, coordinate with sponsors and teams, and ensure compliance with sanctions and risk controls using SAFe and agile methods.

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; SAFe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field and five (5) years of relevant experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or business operations/product line
  • SAFe Practitioner (SP), SAFe Agilist, or SAFe Product Owner/Manager certification preferred
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under pressure
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Process Engineering methodologies and Change Management practices
  • Familiarity or working knowledge with multiple technical software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Proven ability to utilize data and analytics to formulate recommendations, solve business problems, and drive business improvements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and strong organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of OFAC, BSA/AML, sanctions compliance, and financial crimes risk management
  • Knowledge of sanctions list management, fuzzy matching algorithms and screening tuning
  • Experience with large-scale screening platform transformations or cloud modernization initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Represent business stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs
  • Partner with sponsors, stakeholders, and Information Technology to define and document business processes, needs, measures, risks and controls
