Job summary

Golden Technology is seeking an IT Business Analyst to partner with cross-functional Agile teams to elicit, analyze, and refine requirements, translating business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria to support sprint-based delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, System Architects, and development teams, define backlog items and release goals, and leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate data interpretation, documentation, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/BA/IS or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, Agile preferred.
• CSPO/AAC or equivalent Agile cert preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into stories, story maps, and specs.
• Experience querying relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server) and using analytics/AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates requests to determine feasibility within Agile cycles.
• Performs gap analysis between current systems and evolving requirements.
• Refines epics into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Authors and maintains Agile artifacts (stories, criteria, flows, specs).
• Compiles and interprets data using AI-powered analytics to identify trends.
• Defines product vision, sprint goals, and release deliverables.
• Supports sprint planning with refined stories, story maps, and release docs.
• Identifies cross-team dependencies and escalates risks to maintain velocity.
• Defines acceptance tests and performs sprint-level UAT.
