Unisity, LLC seeks a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The role focuses on testing, automation, and collaboration within a federal contractor environment.

Candidates should have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, hands-on experience with Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, CI/CD, and a solid background in Java, JavaScript, and Python within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

Description:

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The System Automation Software Engineer will be responsible for:

• Utilizing a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Authoring tests utilizing Cucumber and Playwright.
• Knowledgeable in Microservices design & architecture, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, Agile Methodology.
• Execute load and performance testing, chaos testing, functional testing and end-to-end testing.
• Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline.
• Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, plus 9 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of experience; or equivalent experience/combined education.
• An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI poly within 7 years).

Required Skills (1+ of the below):

• Playwright, Cucumber, JMeter, Swagger (or similar API tool), Selenium Tools: Cypress, 508 testing tools (JAWS or NVDA)
• S/W: Java, Javascript, Python, Ansible
• Other: Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Gitlab, Jira

Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Salary:

$200,000 – $210,000(Annually)

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location.
