Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking an Agile Developer II to modernize a legacy system with a microservices-based architecture. You will write Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, build REST services, and implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.

The role requires a TS clearance with CI polygraph within the last seven years and the ability to support an on-call rotation. Experience in agile software delivery and collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience/education.
• 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within last 7 years.
• Ability to support an on-call rotation.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Agile Developer II to join our team!

The Work

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:

• Writing Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years
• Ability to support an on-call rotation

Desired Skills (2 of the below):

• Java, Spring Boot, or Python
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab & GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker
• Database: NoSQL / MongoDB query and schema design
• OAuth/OIDC implementation experience
