Job summary

Reflexive Concepts is seeking an Agile Developer II to modernize a legacy system with a microservices architecture.

The role focuses on Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, REST data services, and CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps, all within an Agile team. Applicants should hold a TS clearance and be prepared for on-call rotation in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience as a baseline requirement.
• 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s plus 4 years.
• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Ability to support an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS.
• Build REST services to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Deliver software in an Agile development process.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders.

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Agile Developer II to join our team!

The Work

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:

• Writing Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years
• Ability to support an on-call rotation
