Job summary

HCLTech in San Antonio is seeking a Project Manager support to facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, guide teams in Agile practices, and ensure steady delivery. This on-site role requires coordinating with product owners, developers, QA, and leadership to align on objectives.

You will track sprint progress, remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and prepare status dashboards. Strong experience with Jira/Confluence and MS Office is expected, with banking domain exposure considered a plus.

Qualifications

Must have experience with Power Point & Excel.
Experience running Scrum meetings.
Experience with Agile.
Experience being an assistant to Project Manager.
Project Manager support with Banking background nice to have.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
Guide teams in adopting and adhering to Agile and Scrum best practices.
Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown metrics, and overall delivery performance.
Identify, manage, and remove impediments impacting team productivity and sprint goals.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and leadership to ensure alignment on delivery objectives.
Prepare and communicate project status reports, dashboards, and key delivery metrics to stakeholders.
Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID) and drive mitigation actions.
Support release planning, sprint forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation activities.
Ensure project governance standards, documentation, and compliance requirements are maintained.
Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
Facilitate effective communication across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospective action tracking and process optimization.
Support Agile maturity and coach team members on Scrum principles, collaboration, and self-organization.
Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and dependent teams to manage cross-team deliverables.
Ensure transparency of project health, delivery risks, and dependencies through regular reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Support change management activities and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
Maintain project artifacts, meeting minutes, action trackers, and knowledge repositories.
Assist leadership in strategic planning, resource forecasting, and delivery governance reviews.
