Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Scrum Master to enable cross-functional technology delivery squads, coaching agile practices and ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments and improve cross-squad collaboration, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

The role emphasizes DevOps, continuous delivery and data-driven decision-making to support delivery readiness and customer value.

Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
Experience coaching and enabling cross-functional delivery teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira or Rally.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach squads in agile principles and foster self-organisation.
Identify and remove impediments, improve team flow and plan releases.
Mentor squad members, product owners and stakeholders in agile practices.
Use delivery data and metrics to identify risks and improve flow, predictability and quality.
Build strong relationships across technology and the Maximus organisation to inform planning and decisions.
Promote DevOps, continuous-delivery and automation, including AI-enabled productivity tools.
Maintain delivery information as a single source of truth and escalate blockers.
