Job summary

Huntington seeks an Agile Coach Manager to lead a team of Agile Coaches and collaborate with the Value Management Office. You will mentor leaders, guide agile transformations, and embed agile mindsets across the organization.

You will develop guidance, tools, and coaching engagements, working with senior leadership and product owners to establish value streams and improve delivery maturity at Huntington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years in Agile environments desired.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role and 5+ years as Agile Coach.
• Experience coaching executives and senior leadership on agile mindsets and organizational change.

## Agile Coach ManagerApply: Office: Columbus, OH: Atlanta, GA: Dallas, TX: Minneapolis, MN: Full time: Posted Today: R0075619# **Description****Summary:**The Agile Coach Manager is an experienced Agilist and leader responsible for working collaboratively with the broader Value Management Office (VMO) team and senior leadership to foster adoption and maturation of agile practices and principles while embedding agile values and mindsets. The Agile Coach Manager is additionally responsible for building credibility with and becoming trusted advisors to the colleagues, teams, managers, and senior leadership they support while providing consultative mentorship, guidance, and training based upon an assessment of each entity’s needs. Colleagues in this role will also manage and guide other Agile Coaches within their organization. **Duties and Responsibilities:*** Responsible for coaching, developing and mentoring team members.* Develops guidance and tools aiding in the growth and maturation of Agile Coaches.* Completes comprehensive assessments providing key observations, strengths, challenges with recommended next steps, and aids in the establishment of Value Streams as part of the organizational Agile Transformations.* Reviews Agile Coaching deliverables and provides feedback to Agile Coaches to ensure content aligns with VMO messaging.* Creates and executes comprehensive Coaching Engagements outlining rationale, benefits, assumptions, and approach.* Coaches and guides senior leadership, Product Owners, managers, and Agile teams to understand and shift to an Agile mindset.* Aids in maturing Agile capabilities and use of Agile principles and frameworks across teams.* Provides guidance on the appropriate use of metrics and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).* Collaboratively supports and facilitates opportunities for sharing best practices, challenges, and innovative thinking across the organization.* Develops supporting documentation and training content to support understanding of Agile a Huntington.* Develops expertise in tools used at Huntington to assist teams mature their usage in an Agile environment.* Contributes to the development of VMO guidance, policies, and standards surrounding product and project delivery.* Uses deep understanding of VMO guidance, policies, and standards surrounding product and project delivery to guide and coach teams to ensure success and compliance where needed.* Performs other duties and projects as assigned. **Basic Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree* Minimum of 12 + years’ experience working in an Agile environment as a Scrum Master or Product Owner and including 5 or more years working as an Agile Coach.* Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role. **Preferred Qualifications/Key Skills:**Executive and Organizational Change* **Organizational Change Management (OCM):** Experience leading culture shifts, restructuring teams, and driving enterprise-wide adoption beyond single teams.* **Executive Coaching:** Ability to coach C-suite leaders and VPs on agile mindsets, servant leadership, and modeling behavioral change.* **Value Stream Mapping (VSM):** Skill in analyzing end-to-end delivery pipelines to find bottlenecks and optimize flow across multiple departments.Advanced Frameworks and Strategy* **Scaling Frameworks:** Familiarity with advanced scaling models like the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS), or Team Topologies.* **Objectives and Key Results (OKRs):** Expertise in guiding product and leadership groups to align strategy with measurable quarterly outcomes.* **Product and DevOps Mentorship:** Background coaching product managers on strategy or promoting engineering/CI/CD best practices (XP, DevOps).Data and Emerging Tech* **Flow Metrics Analysis:** Knowing how to interpret advanced metrics like cycle time, throughput, and work-in-progress (WIP) limits rather than relying on vanity metrics.* **AI Integration:** Educating delivery teams on how to leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize development workflows.**Exempt Status: (Yes** = not eligible for overtime pay) (**No** = eligible for overtime pay)Yes**Workplace Type:**OfficeOur Approach to **Office** Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
