KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coaching & Team Enablement
- Coach Scrum Leads and Product Owners through hands-on facilitation, observation, and feedback — building capability rather than dependency.
- Guide and facilitate core Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, helping teams run them effectively and independently over time.
- Identify team impediments, anti-patterns, and maturity gaps; develop and execute tailored improvement plans.
- Model servant leadership behaviors and help teams build a culture of continuous improvement, psychological safety, and accountability.
Backlog Management & Prioritization
- Support Product Owners in building, maintaining, and refining well-structured, outcome-oriented product backlogs.
- Facilitate backlog grooming (refinement) sessions, helping teams decompose epics, write actionable user stories, define acceptance criteria, and estimate effectively.
- Champion backlog hygiene and ensure stories are consistently ready for planning cycles, reducing sprint drag and rework.
Business Acumen & Stakeholder Partnership
- Translate business goals into Agile delivery strategies, helping teams understand the 'why' behind their work and connect it to organizational value.
- Communicate team health, velocity trends, and delivery risks to leadership in clear, business-relevant terms.
- Partner with business stakeholders to align expectations, clarify priorities, and navigate trade-off conversations with confidence.
Coaching Community & Practice Development
- Actively collaborate with fellow Agile coaches through Communities of Practice, shared retrospectives, and co-coaching engagements.
- Contribute to developing and refining standards, playbooks, toolkits, and training materials for the broader organization.
- Share learnings, innovations, and challenges with the coaching team to raise collective capability and consistency across the practice.

- Relevant certification(s) preferred: CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, SAFe SPC, PMP-ACP, or equivalent.
