We are seeking a plant supervisor to cultivate safety culture, lead teams, optimize production, and manage maintenance to maximize equipment availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in asphalt or manufacturing in building materials.
• 1 year supervisory/management experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience planning and budgeting.
• Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of heavy mining and asphalt equipment.
• Broader industry knowledge.
• Understanding of plants and equipment used in ready-mix concrete and asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a positive safety culture at the plant and follow company policies.
• Lead internal and external personnel in safe site execution across operations and maintenance.
• Focus on innovative production methods, scheduling, staffing and cost optimization.
• Plan and lead maintenance to balance spend and availability.
• Maintain required records per environmental, MSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Work with QC to target in-spec product production and reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement on parts and services.
• Collaborate with groups to meet environmental and reclamation targets.
• Assist with accident and environmental investigations/compliance.
