Job summary

Heidelberg Materials seeks an Aggregates Project Manager to support South Texas Operations by leading capital projects, planning activities, and continuous improvement across multiple sites. You will drive projects from concept to commissioning while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule objectives are met.

You will coordinate with plant, quarry, maintenance, environmental, and engineering teams to balance production needs, reserve utilization, and resource planning, while guiding contractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Management).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in aggregates/mining/industrial environments.
• Experience managing capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Knowledge of aggregate mining operations and short-term mine planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects and operational improvements from planning through execution while meeting safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets.
• Develop and manage short-term mine plans to support production targets and equipment deployment.
• Collaborate with plant, quarry, maintenance, environmental, and engineering teams to align project priorities with operations.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, business cases, schedules, and resource plans for capital investments and improvements.
• Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution and compliance with standards.
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and expenditures, and provide updates to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance through project commissioning and safety initiatives.
