Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Southwest Agg LLC offers a Leadership Development Program for graduating seniors in engineering or business. You will participate in a defined program applying knowledge and assist in managing daily operations of an aggregate production facility.

You'll be exposed to health, safety and environmental regulations, and learn mine planning, operations optimization, quality control, sales, maintenance, and heavy equipment operation.

  • Graduating seniors with a degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Business Management.
  • Current internal employees with basic industry knowledge pursuing leadership roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Participate in a defined program where you can apply your knowledge, experience, and education.
  • Assist in managing daily operations of aggregate production.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in special projects that vary in scope and size, working alongside some of the industrys best and brightest managers.
  • Learn all aspects of managing a quarry or sand & gravel operation, including Mine Planning, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Sales, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment, Safety, and more.
