Croell, Inc. seeks a Regional Aggregate Manager for the North Platte area to oversee wash plants, site permitting, inventory records, and reporting to accounting. The role is based in North Platte, NE and reports to the Division Manager.

Requires MSHA certifications and strong safety/regulatory knowledge. Salary is around six figures with overtime potential. Responsibilities include budgeting, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment used in aggregate sites.
• Strong mechanical background with maintenance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop adherence to site budgets and forecasts.
• Sell to contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Coordinate maintenance to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Promote clean, safe, well‑organized work locations.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and repairs (e.g., screens, rollers, conveyors).
• Perform inspections and document in line with policies.
• Display professionalism to staff and the public.
• Assess personnel needs and oversee hiring/training promptly.
• Develop and manage capital expenditures and projects.
• Lead safety as a core value and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA.
• Liaise with corporate offices for payroll and production reporting.

Overview

The Regional Aggregate Manager (North Platte) will be responsible for the management of all wash plants, permitting all the aggregate sites, recording inventory for aggregate sites, and ensuring all reporting to the accounting department is completed. This position will work closely with the regional aggregate production manager, be based out of North Platte, NE, and report to the Division Manager.

$100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications). Full‑time with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Develop adherence to site‑specific budgets and forecasts.
• Sales to contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Organize and coordinate maintenance tasks to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Promote clean, safe, and well‑organized work locations.
• Coordinate machine maintenance and repairs (e.g., change out screens, rollers, cone liners, repair conveyors, grease moving machine parts).
• Perform location inspections and appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co‑workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Evaluate the needs of personnel and ensure proper hiring and training are completed promptly.
• Develop and refine capital expenditures, including planning and execution of capital projects.
• Lead safety as a core value and ensure effective implementation of safety programs and compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
• Interact with department heads at the corporate office to ensure proper reporting of payroll hours, staffing changes, crew and equipment movements, production tonnages, mechanical breakdowns, and quality issues.

Requirements

• Consent to authorization of a pre‑employment work screen, drug test, and motor vehicle record request.
• Knowledge of the State Department of Environmental Quality’s rules and regulations.
• MSHA Part 46 and 48 miner certifications.
• Heavy equipment and mechanical experience.
• Experience in limestone crushing and alluvial deposits (silt, sand, gravel, etc.).
