This position oversees regional aggregates operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and commercial excellence. Supports business growth under the Executive Vice President’s direction, while fostering a positive workplace culture and representing the company in community and corporate initiatives.

Wage Starting: $140,000

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with seven years of progressively responsible management experience in a construction materials setting.
  • Experience working and managing aggregate production facilities.
  • Proficient knowledge in computer skills and computer software relative to construction materials industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead and mentor others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including making presentations.
Preferred Requirements
  • Advanced degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with ten years experience in a construction materials setting.
  • Significant knowledge of construction materials operations with strong emphasis on math and analytical skills.
Duties And/or Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing and coordinating operational and commercial aggregates plans throughout the region.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and coordinating key performance indicators throughout the region for aggregates sales and operations.
  • Works with regional leadership to support and promote key corporate safety, operational and commercial goals throughout the region.
  • Works with regional leadership to support customer focus, quality standards, and margin expansion through dynamic pricing.
  • Engaged in corporate strategic integration of growth opportunities within the region.
  • Works to develop and maintain working relationships with major vendors and coordinates vendor alignment throughout the region.
  • Provide leadership and vision to foster employee growth and retention.
  • Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
