Job summary

Barrett Paving Materials Inc, part of the Barrett family and the Colas USA network, is seeking an Aggregate Plant Laborer to support safe and efficient plant operations. You will perform routine maintenance, operate heavy equipment, and help maintain a clean, productive work site.

You will safely operate loaders, skid steers, haul trucks, graders, water trucks, and service trucks; conduct pre-operational inspections; lubricate equipment; and report mechanical or safety concerns.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Front-end loader experience in aggregate, mining, quarry, construction or heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe work procedures.
• Ability to work weekends and long hours during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Perform housekeeping duties and site cleanup.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment.
• Safely operate loaders, skid steers, haul trucks, graders, water trucks and service trucks.
• Lubricate and maintain plant and fleet equipment.
• Identify and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Work with plant personnel to meet production goals.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
