Job summary

Knife River Casper is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to oversee mining, production, sales, trucking and reclamation operations at our Casper site. This full-time role requires safety‑driven leadership and the ability to manage cross‑functional teams, with occasional travel to out‑of‑town sites.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of aggregate operations experience, a valid driver’s license, and proven supervisory and organizational skills, plus a commitment to safety and meeting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aggregate sales, washing, crushing, screening, aggregate transfer and/or gravel mine operations.
• Current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Computer literacy using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Apex or other Command Alkon POS systems is a plus).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Supervisory experience.
• Reliable, able to work well under pressure, and skilled at organizing and prioritizing work.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong commitment to safety and the ability to create a strong safety culture throughout the site.
