Job summary

Knife River is accepting applications for Equipment Operators for our crushing operations in Casper, Wyoming. This role requires safe operation of heavy equipment, adherence to company policies, and daily inspections to ensure quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform duties including operation of Heavy Equipment safely and productively.
  • Work safely and follow all company policies.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues.
Qualifications

Applicant must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. 1 year experience with the defined type of equipment preferred. Ability to operate multiple types of equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
