Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a skilled software engineer to join an embedded technical team within our People Services organization. You will build and maintain data pipelines, AI-powered apps, and analytics tools that shape how the company invests in its workforce.

You will work with enterprise data sources like Workday and Databricks-powered data lakes, writing Python across notebooks and full web stacks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, modifying, developing and implementing software applications using agile methods.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples.
• Experience with Agile, extreme programming, product management, and software products.
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Knowledge of AI systems architecture, AI platforms, or MLflow.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in software engineering, or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience with software development using languages/tools such as JavaScript, Python, or Scala.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
