DoorDash's MDX team is seeking an engineer to design and build the agentic layer of ML infrastructure. You will own components end-to-end, from orchestration to evaluation, working across tooling integrations with our ML platform.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 2+ years of industry software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building ML infrastructure in production including feature engineering, data pipelines, training/experimentation platforms, evaluation, deployment, serving, or monitoring.
• Strong Python and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience operating systems in production, including testing, observability, debugging, and reliability.
• Understanding of how ML engineers/data scientists work and how to build productive platforms/tools.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools across the software lifecycle (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).

Aufgaben

• Build agentic systems that accelerate ML development across multiple platforms.
• Design infrastructure for proposing, running, and evaluating modeling experiments.
• Develop agentic developer support for training jobs, debugging pipelines, and model deployments.
• Create evaluation and observability for agent behavior to detect regressions and build trust.
• Ensure reliability, safety guardrails, cost controls, and clear playbooks for real ML systems.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to turn workflows into reusable platform capabilities.
• Grow quickly in a fast-moving AI tooling area and shape agent usage at scale.
