Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager with an ML background to lead the Personalization engineering team. You will define the roadmap and drive end-to-end ML-based ranking and recommendation systems that enhance value for consumers, merchants, and DoorDash.

You will lead world-class ML engineers, work with product and design colleagues, and scale the team while applying cutting-edge technologies to real-time personalization challenges across multiple verticals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong ML modeling foundation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ML engineers delivering end-to-end personalization with state-of-the-art ML approaches.
• Define personalization strategy and technology roadmap with stakeholders.
• Build an intent agent that predicts consumer intent at app open and shapes the experience.
• Extend the blender to blend content from multiple verticals and business lines.
• Enable real-time ranking that reacts to consumer signals as they happen.
