Job description

Job Location CINCINNATI GENERAL OFFICES Job Description At P&G, we believe that diverse experiences help build strong leaders. Mobility is a key component of many management careers, providing opportunities to grow through different assignments, locations, and business challenges. Candidates should be prepared to consider relocation opportunities throughout their career as business needs and development opportunities arise.

About the Role:

As an Agentic Enablement Engineer, you will help teams accelerate the adoption of AI-powered agents, automation, and intelligent workflows. Acting as both a trusted technical advisor and hands-on engineer, you will partner with teams to assess their current solutions, identify opportunities to leverage agentic technologies, and deliver practical, scalable implementations that drive business value. This is a hybrid role that combines technical consulting, solution architecture, and hands-on engineering. You will work directly with teams to understand their applications, APIs, data sources, business processes, and existing automation or AI solutions. From there, you will evaluate opportunities to leverage modern AI, agentic workflows, and automation platforms to deliver measurable business value. Success in this role requires both strong technical depth and the ability to influence across teams. You will translate business needs into technical solutions, recommend appropriate tools and architectures, and develop prototypes or proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to evaluate their current agent landscape, including A2A and non-A2A agents (legacy solutions, Copilot Studio agents, and others), as well as the APIs, data sources, cloud environments, events, and business processes that power them.
  • Evaluate existing applications, agents, and workflows to identify and implement the technologies, patterns, and platforms that enable scalable agentic capabilities and business impact.
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions and reference implementations that help teams understand and apply agentic AI capabilities in real-world scenarios.
  • Spend 20% of your time learning and experimenting with the latest agentic tools and frameworks, exploring emerging trends, and asking the critical questions that shape future solutions.
  • Translate what you learn into clear guidance that accelerates team adoption, while incorporating team feedback into platform and tooling strategy.
Job Qualifications Required:
  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
  • Strong technical communication and the ability to ask good questions — the kind that surface the simplest, most reliable solution to the problem in front of you
  • Hands-on experience building or integrating LLM-based or agentic systems
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs and events, such as REST and event-driven or messaging patterns
  • Experience delivering solutions on a major cloud platform (Azure preferred)
  • A track record of enabling teams and influencing without direct authority — through consulting, developer advocacy, or similar
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience with a strongly typed compiled language such as C#, Java/Kotlin, or Go
  • 3+ years of experience with a dynamic scripting language such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
  • Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework or LangChain
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, M365 Agents, and Copilot declarative agents
  • Familiarity with agent interoperability standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent (A2A) patterns
