Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to own a product area focused on agentic systems. You will collaborate with customers and product to define and ship robust APIs and services at scale.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with time-series data processing, model integrations, and containerized workflows in a Kubernetes environment. You will partner with engineering to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Own a product area: talk to customers, decide what to build, and ship it.
• Experience building APIs (REST, gRPC, etc.) and complex backend services with Go, Python, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Talk directly to customers and partner with product to turn real review workflows into agent capabilities.
• Design, ship, and operate agentic systems that reason over large-scale time-series data and hardware domain context.
• Build APIs that power agentic capabilities and integrate frontier models.
• Design and implement Kubernetes-based job scheduling and real-time data processing.
