Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP is seeking an Agentic AI Senior Manager to lead a high-impact team in a hybrid work model, averaging two days per week in-office. You will drive planning, technical direction, and governance across AI-focused initiatives.

Job Family Definition: Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.
Management Level Definition: Applies expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving most complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages activities of exempt individual contributors (typically Expert/Master) and/or MG1s. Has accountability for a large multi-department area(s) or location(s) with significant impact on business unit results and organizational strategy. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization. Plans, manages, and monitors high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' primary focus is on either high-end tactical or broad strategic issues or a combination of both. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Position typically reports to Director or above.
Additional Guidance/Criteria: Manages and controls activities within a sub-region or Region; Typically manages 10 or more direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence,machine learning, or closely related quantitative discipline. 12+ years’ experience including 5 or more years of people management experience, Advanced Degree (Master’s) Leadership & Management Strong people management and mentoring skills. Ability to resolve conflicts, motivate teams, and build trust. Strategic thinking and decision-making under uncertainty. Technical Awareness Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (if managing AI-focused teams). Understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and cloud platforms. Strong knowledge on HPE routing, switching products and solutions. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with other vendor routers like Cisco, Alcatel router/switch. Working knowledge of UNIX; proficiency in a scripting language, such as Perl, Expect, would be a plus. Experience in various test methodologies white box, black box, solution testing is desirable. Certification like JNCIE or equivalent would be highly desirable Project & Process Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps). Risk management and dependency handling. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Communication & Collaboration Excellent verbal and written communication for executive and technical audiences. Stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination. Negotiation and influence.
