Job summary

Beaconfire is seeking an Agentic AI Python Developer to design, build, and productionize Python-based web applications and Vertex AI RAG pipelines. You will own end-to-end delivery from ingestion to deployment, including embeddings, retrieval, and agent orchestration.

The role requires strong Python development skills, experience with Flask/Django, and familiarity with vector databases, cloud services, and modern AI tooling. Collaboration and code quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python web development with Flask or Django.
• Experience designing and deploying RESTful APIs in Python.
• Knowledge of Vertex AI, GCP IAM, logging/monitoring, and GKE.
• Strong understanding of RAG pipelines and vector databases.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and tool/function calling patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high quality web applications using Python, Flask, Django.
• Build and productionize Vertex AI-based RAG systems including chunking, embeddings, indexing and retrieval.
• Create agentic workflows with tool use, planning, and guardrails.
• Write maintainable code, perform reviews, and ensure test coverage and telemetry.
• Produce documentation and participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization.
