Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. is seeking an Agentic AI Python Developer to build and orchestrate agentic AI workflows, focusing on tool use, planning, and grounding. You will own end-to-end delivery from ingestion to deployment while collaborating across teams.

The role emphasizes Python-heavy development, RAG pipelines on Vertex AI, and experience with vector databases, language models, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications with Python frameworks (Flask/Django).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and testing.
• Experience with AI/ML tooling, vector databases, and RAG pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design and develop high quality Web applications using Python, Flask, Django, and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable code with strong testing practices.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines on Google Cloud / Vertex AI (chunking, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, reranking, grounding).
• Build agentic workflows (tool use, planning, reflection/guardrails, structured outputs) using Python-first frameworks.
• Perform code reviews, conduct testing, and create technical documentation.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization; stay updated with new Python tech and best practices.
• Define and run evaluations (retrieval metrics, answer quality, hallucination/grounding checks) and improve system quality.
• Ship to production: APIs, monitoring/observability, cost/performance optimization, CI/CD, security best practices.
