Job summary

JPMorganChase in Jersey City is seeking an Agentic AI Full Stack Software Engineer III- Python/React to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled web applications with secure, scalable architecture. You will work on frontend React experiences, backend APIs, and MCP integrations to connect AI models with enterprise data in real time.

You will collaborate with product, design, and business teams to translate client needs into robust AI-driven solutions, ensuring compliance with financial services

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Proficiency in Python with strong data structures, OOP, and API design.
• Experience building external-facing web apps with React, TS/JS, HTML, CSS and modern state management.
• Experience developing back-end services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI/Flask (Python).
• Experience designing for scalability and resiliency; fault tolerance and high availability.
• Hands-on experience integrating NLP/LLM/Generative AI models into production software.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure handling of data inputs/outputs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure for AI/ML deployment and data processing.
• Knowledge of application security for client-facing financial apps and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled external client web apps with Generative AI.
• Build React-based UI experiences for LLM-powered workflows with usability and accessibility.
• Integrate multi-step agentic AI workflows with human-in-the-loop controls.
• Develop and maintain front-end architecture and UX patterns for AI features.
• Implement MCP integrations for secure data source connections in real time.
• Build scalable data pipelines and data processing workflows using cloud services.
• Design and develop robust APIs and microservices to integrate AI models.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality and speed, with peer review and security.
• Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development for automation and delivery.
• Add observability, monitoring, and feedback loops to track model performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product/design/business to translate needs into scalable AI solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.
