Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI/ML engineer to build, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain AI agents and supporting applications using Booz Allen’s Agent Foundry platform in an AWS environment.

You will connect agents to enterprise data, implement retrieval and workflow orchestration, and evaluate performance while collaborating with AI/ML engineers, data and cloud engineers, and domain experts to translate mission needs into working software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python production-grade software development experience.
• 2+ years of AI/ML-enabled application development or deployment.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Ability to evaluate AI/ML applications using metrics and user feedback.
• Knowledge of LLM and agent development patterns (tool calling, retrieval, orchestration).
• Knowledge of AWS fundamentals and secure development practices.
• Ability to translate mission use cases into implemented features.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/Data Science or Engineering with 5+ years experience OR Master’s with 2+ years.
