Job summary

Appnovation is hiring for AgentCore Platform Engineers to build the agent-facing layer of the platform. You will focus on how agents run, remember and collaborate, while safely integrating with internal systems.

This is a named-team engagement for a hands-on engineer. We value strong AWS fundamentals, production experience with Bedrock AgentCore, and ability to design robust agent memory and orchestration patterns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python and cloud exposure.
• Hands-on experience building LLM agents with at least one framework.
• Practical experience with LLM tool/function calling and model outputs.
• Strong AWS fundamentals including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, and storage services.
• Experience designing REST APIs and OpenAPI specs with secure auth patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define how agents are structured, packaged and run on the platform.
• Design memory patterns and explain context management for agents.
• Build orchestration and multi-agent handoffs with clear boundaries.
• Expose internal APIs and services as agent tools via Gateway and OpenAPI.
• Develop MCP servers for custom integrations with clean schemas.
• Implement authentication and authorization for agents and tools.
• Wrap legacy systems safely and ensure robust error handling.
• Create production-quality starter kits and reference implementations.
• Build evaluation, guardrails and safety checks before going live.
• Provide enablement through docs and team onboarding sessions.
