Job summary

Appnovation is hiring AgentCore Platform Engineers to build the agent-facing layer of the platform in a distributed team. The role focuses on runtime, memory, orchestration and tool integration, leveraging Bedrock/AgentCore concepts and AWS services.

You will work across internal APIs, Lambda targets and legacy systems, ensuring secure, scalable and well-documented solutions for client projects in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on work building LLM agents using at least one framework.
• Strong AWS fundamentals and REST/OpenAPI experience.
• Familiarity with agent memory and retrieval concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define agent runtime patterns and memory strategies.
• Build grafts between internal tools via Gateway and APIs.
• Design MCP-like servers for integrated systems.
• Ensure security, authentication and access controls for agents.
• Create reference implementations and tooling for teams.
