Job summary

Trove Group is seeking an Agent Onboarding Specialist in the Saint Louis Park area. This role coordinates with contracting, sales, and Workplace Growth Managers to move newly affiliated agents from contracting to first sales, ensuring timely progress and accurate records.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to surface delays early. You will support agents through paperwork, carrier appointments, training, and first cases, while maintaining clear onboarding records for all

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance agency operations or onboarding.
• Familiarity with health insurance distribution; ACA and small group carrier appointments helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many agents at different stages of onboarding.
• Clear, timely communication and a service mindset with both agents and internal teams.
• Comfort using CRM systems, shared trackers, and carrier or contracting portals.

Responsibilities

• Guide new licensed agents through onboarding, from initial paperwork to first cases.
• Track progress and confirm steps are completed before agents begin sales activity.
• Coordinate with contracting on affiliation and appointment submissions; follow up on items.
• Schedule platform access, training, and meetings with Workplace Growth Managers.
• Help agents prepare for first cases by connecting them with quoting, enrollment support, and submissions.
• Maintain onboarding records, next steps, and follow-up dates for visibility.
• Stay in touch post-sale to resolve onboarding issues and surface resources.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend onboarding process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
