Job summary

The Juris Agency in Clive, Iowa is seeking an Agency Business Consultant & Training Lead to support Farmers Insurance District 30 — Team Iowa with a growing network of 30+ agencies and an active pipeline of new agency operators. You will lead our new-agent training program, manage onboarding, and serve as an operational resource for agencies throughout the district.

The ideal candidate combines insurance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to teach and develop others.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of insurance experience, with agency operations, carrier, or district office experience preferred.
• Experience training, coaching, or onboarding employees, agents, or other professionals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to teach systems, processes, and procedures.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead our recurring 8-day new-agent bootcamp for agents, associate agents, and agency staff.
• Train participants on Farmers systems, tools, resources, and day-to-day agency operations.
• Teach agents and staff how to locate information and independently resolve common questions and issues.
• Manage onboarding from candidate readiness to licensing verification, system setup, and placement.
• Order and manage background checks and guide agency owners through the process.
• Serve as a resource for licensing, billing, system issues, and compliance questions.
• Identify issues and escalate for additional support as needed.
• Maintain district resources, program updates, and agent communications.
• Support district contests and promotions through tracking and reporting.
• Manage a recurring training calendar with multiple onboarding and operational priorities.
