Job summary

Insight Acute Care Hospitals in Michigan is seeking an Agency Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a patient group. The nurse will lead the nursing team under physician direction and collaborate with other health professionals to uphold patient-centered care and safety.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, and documentation in the electronic health record, with a focus on outcomes, quality improvement, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in Michigan.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS/TNCC/ENPC as applicable.
• Ability to document and retrieve patient information in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, family-inclusive care with interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized by state licensure.
• Engage in quality improvement and safety initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Lead nursing staff and coordinate care plans across shifts and units.
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately in the EHR.
