Job Details

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Agency of Record (AoR) account lead and on behalf of clients, this active, hands-on role maintains and grows strong client relationships with assigned brands, leads product payer strategy development, drives innovative managed markets initiatives, and leads internal teams to ensure the quality of deliverables and interactions with assigned clients. Ensures projects are successfully completed on time and within budget. Qualified candidates will possess strong leadership, critical thinking, and client management skills. This role requires biopharmaceutical market access experience and deep oncology therapeutic expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing leadership and serving as primary contact for assigned clients through project execution and delivery, helping to grow existing business and identify new opportunities.
  2. Partnering with Cencora counterparts to identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities.
  3. Leading client presentations, staffing proposals, and developing relationships for strategic insights.
  4. Training and mentoring internal staff and team members.
  5. Managing client expectations and providing strategic guidance during meetings and through deliverables.
  6. Maintaining onsite presence with clients as needed to manage accounts and develop relationships.
  7. Collaborating with various internal teams to leverage expertise.
  8. Ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation.
  9. Designing and delivering various project types, including market access strategies, research, brand planning, and more.
  10. Overseeing team performance and quality of deliverables.

Education:

  • BS/BA required; advanced degrees like PharmD or MBA preferred. Oncology expertise or Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist highly desired.

Experience:

  • 4-5 years in payer or brand marketing within the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, with ability to handle multiple projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Success in consulting or pharmaceutical industry, strong knowledge of brand planning, managed markets, reimbursement, and health economics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Salary Range*

$121,000 - 186,230

*This range reflects a national average; actual salaries may vary by location.
