Job summary

Advanced Energy in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Agency - Material Handler to move, locate, pull, and count inventory and perform material transactions. You will support Production and other staff with timely, accurate handling of parts and supplies.

The role requires 1–3 years in storeroom or warehousing, familiarity with SAP, and a High School Diploma or GED. You will participate in cycle counts, inventory control, and kit creation for assembly, service, and sales orders; safety awareness a must.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in storeroom, warehousing, or material handling.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling/logistics systems and SAP.
  • Must achieve certification in a specific area.
  • Works under direct supervision.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Store and distribute materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Examine, stock, and kit materials in inventory and on lines.
  • Prepare kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders.
  • Perform daily cycle counts, post counts, resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure security and accountability of materials and goods.
  • Communicate issues to Planners, Buyers, etc.
  • Respond to requests quickly and professionally.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Moves, locates, pulls, and counts inventory in a variety of locations and performs all necessary software transactions. Ensures accurate inventory and material processes are followed. Attends to the material requests from Production or other personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Distribution can include the driving of a company truck to transport materials.
  • Examines, stocks, and kits materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Prepares kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders.
  • Performs daily cycle counts, posts inventory counts as applicable, and helps resolve discrepancies
  • Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control
  • Communicates issues appropriately to Planners, Buyers, etc
  • Responds to requests & inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Other duties as assigned
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Location: Vancouver, WA
  • Agency role: 6 months
  • Standard office environment, noisy & busy manufacturing areas / labs, and clean-room environment
  • AE is a highly dynamic, technically challenging, and fast-paced manufacturing work place

  • Works under direct supervision.

COMPENSATION:

_As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.The range of starting pay for this role is $19.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour (non-exempt role)._
