Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an inventory/warehouse specialist to move, locate, pull, and count materials across production and packaging areas. You will perform software transactions, manage kitting, and ensure accurate inventory for multiple lines and orders.

The role requires 1–3 years in storeroom or similar, SAP knowledge, and ability to learn new software. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in storeroom, warehousing, or other material handling.
• Basic knowledge of material handling/logistics systems and SAP.
• Certification in a specific area; problem solving and investigation required.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Store and distribute materials; transport duties may be required.
• Examine, stock, and kit materials for production lines.
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly, service, sales orders.
• Perform daily cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain security and accountability of materials.
• Communicate issues to Planners and Buyers.
• Respond to requests quickly and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Moves, locates, pulls, and counts inventory in a variety of locations and performs all necessary software transactions. Ensures accurate inventory and material processes are followed. Attends to the material requests from Production or other personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Distribution can include the driving of a company truck to transport materials.
• Examines, stocks, and kits materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• Prepares kitting packages for assembly production, service repair, and sales orders.
• Performs daily cycle counts, posts inventory counts as applicable, and helps resolve discrepancies
• Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control
• Communicates issues appropriately to Planners, Buyers, etc
• Responds to requests & inquiries quickly and professionally
• Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Agency role: 6 months
• Standard office environment, noisy & busy manufacturing areas / labs, and clean-room environment
• AE is a highly dynamic, technically challenging, and fast-paced manufacturing work place

EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years experience in storeroom, warehousing, or other material handling position

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.The range of starting pay for this role is $19.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour (non-exempt role).
