The ideal candidate has a BS in IT/CS/Engineering and at least eight years in IT management, including four years of supervision.

Qualifications

Eight years of IT management experience including systems analysis, design, and database management.
Four years of supervisory responsibilities including hiring, discipline and performance evaluation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; prior government IT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Align technology strategies with departmental goals and ensure secure IT operations.
Plan, direct, and evaluate the agency’s IT division and staff development.
Manage budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships for IT services.
Lead modernization efforts and ensure timely delivery of IT initiatives.
Oversee data center management and technology risk mitigation.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning for technology.
