FX Insurance Agency LLC in Wilmington, NC is seeking a driven Agency Development Sales Leader. This contractor role through Kelly OCG supports Farmers Insurance and centers on coaching, development, and performance of Agency Development Sales Specialists across personal, specialty, life, and commercial lines.

Salary base ranges from $70,000 to $71,000, plus Graduation Bonus and Personal Referral Bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability, EAP, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Property and Casualty license required upon hire.
• Life and Health license upon hire preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

• Supports leadership, sales, and business development capabilities to help Agency Development Sales Specialists prepare for future agency ownership and entrepreneurial success.
• Conducts regular coaching sessions, performance assessments, and development planning feedback aligned to growth paths and milestones.
• Promotes the Farmers value proposition across personal, specialty, life, and commercial lines and supports market execution.
• Coaches on customer engagement, sales development, and business planning to drive long-term agency growth.
• Leverages AI-enabled systems to enhance sales effectiveness and evaluates third-party lead providers.
• Develops and maintains strategic referral partnerships to support pipeline growth.

Job Description

Salary base $70,000 to $71,000 + Graduation Bonus + Personal Referral Bonus

This position is responsible for supporting the recruitment, coaching, development, and performance of Agency Development Sales Specialists within an assigned location. The role provides strategic support and oversight across business development opportunities, including lead procurement, referral relationship management, pipeline development, centers of influence development, and market execution. It is accountable for supporting new business growth and retention across personal, specialty, life, and commercial insurance lines.

• Collaborates with business partners to align strategies and improve market execution
• Coaches Agency Development Sales Specialists on customer engagement strategies, sales development, and business planning skills that support long‑term agency growth.
• Reinforces professional development expectations, including additional licensing, ongoing training, and mastery of product, underwriting, and market knowledge.
• Guides Agency Development Sales Specialists in their strategic business development, leadership behavior, and operational discipline activities.
• Leverages AI enabled systems and other available resources to help Agency Owner Development Strategists enhance sales effectiveness. Identifies and evaluates third party lead providers.
• Analyzes lead return on investment and conversion performance to help optimize available marketing and acquisition strategies.
• Develops and maintains strategic referral partnerships to support sustainable pipeline growth.
• Oversees daily and weekly sales activity by using technology platforms, processing systems, and reporting resources.
• Uses performance data, pipeline metrics, and reporting to monitor results, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
• Participates in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of Agency Development Sales Specialists.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Property and Casualty license required upon hire.

Life and Health license upon hire preferred.

Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

Possesses strong technical aptitude.
