We're on the lookout for committed individuals like yourself, eager to create a genuine impact! We're hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Logan.

Your contribution:

  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Administer medications.
  • Perform domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation.
  • Assist clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Engage with the community by attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice.

About you:

  • Seeking a change from aged care facilities and interested in building one-to-one rapport with clients.
  • Great communicators dedicated to providing excellent service.
  • Excellent listeners who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Calm, confident, and professional in various environments, understanding boundaries.
  • Holding a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is highly desirable.
  • Capable of providing personal care with dignity and sensitivity.
  • Valuing an inclusive society with a focus on respect, client focus, integrity, excellence, and courage.
  • Possessing an Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance.
  • Availability for shifts Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to clients' homes.

Before you commence, you will need:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card).
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance.
  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (free).
  • Signed Statutory Declaration.
  • A smartphone with iOS 13.0+ or Android 6.0+ operating system.
