Qualifications

• High School or GED; technical training is preferred.
• Ability to operate pumps and gauges and work in a team.
• Willingness to travel to NC farms and recovery facilities (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operations of collection and conditioning equipment.
• Interact with farmers on collection of animal waste.
• Document animal waste collection volumes from farms.
• Perform general maintenance on collection and conditioning equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures during collection and transport.
• Assist in setup and takedown of process equipment.
• Open and close valves to supply flush water to houses.
• Notify higher technicians of equipment or process issues.
