Job description

AGKS69973 – Ag Loan Officer – Northwest KS

We are working with a strong $300 million community bank in NW Kansas that is seeking an Ag Loan Officer for a well-established market. This branch is heavily agricultural-focused, with approximately 90% of the portfolio tied to ag relationships, along with some consumer and residential lending. The incoming lender will inherit an existing portfolio of $15 to $30 million, depending on experience, providing an excellent opportunity to step into an active book of business from day one. The portfolio includes a diverse mix of operations such as row crops, dryland and irrigated farming, corn, wheat, milo, alfalfa, sunflowers, as well as cow-calf, feeder cattle, and small feedlot relationships. This individual will join a team of three other loan officers and report directly to the President, offering strong visibility and support within the organization. The bank would ideally like to find someone with three plus years of ag lending experience and a solid understanding of production agriculture. The bank is willing to relocate someone and would love to see someone out of Kansas, Kansas ties, or a neighboring state. Strong compensation package.
