Land View, Inc. in Nampa, ID seeks a reliable Light-Duty Ag & Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair agricultural equipment and a fleet of pickups and light trucks. Focusing on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and light-to-medium repairs, heavy diesel work is outsourced to specialist shops.

You will determine if repairs can be done in-house or must be sent to external partners, while keeping a clear service history for every asset.

Qualifications

• Solve problems using knowledge of automotive and agricultural mechanics.
• Experience with 12V/24V electrical systems and hydraulics.
• Perform brake work, suspension repairs and preventive maintenance efficiently.
• Own basic hand tools; CDL is a bonus but not required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fleet maintenance: oil changes, brakes, tires, fluids and suspension on pickups/light trucks.
• Equipment repair: troubleshoot hydraulics/electrical on agricultural equipment.
• Triage & diagnostics: decide in-house vs outsourced repairs.
• Vendor coordination: stage vehicles for heavy engine work and communicate with partner shops.
• Record keeping: log maintenance/repairs/parts for all assets.
