Job summary

The American Crystal Sugar Company is seeking an Ag Repairman to install, modify, and maintain beet receiving facilities and equipment, including scale, pilers, and loaders. You will lead safety initiatives and training while coordinating with maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include creating CMMS work orders, estimating time/materials, and verifying parts stock. DOT qualifications and CDL eligibility are required; strong reading, writing, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• DOT physical certification must be obtained within 10 days of contingent award and recertified as needed.
• CDL Class A or B license must be obtained within 45 days of employment.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude, basic skills and welding tests are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify and maintain beet receiving facilities and equipment.
• Safely operate pay loader, skidsteer loader and sugarbeet piler.
• Create work orders in the CMMS, estimating time and material needs.
• Verify stock status on parts required for maintenance.
• Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques to resolve issues.
