Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking an in-shop technician to service and repair AG equipment at our Dix, IL location. You will focus on Terragators, Rogators, Spra Coupe, Lexion combines, and Challenger tractors, diagnosing electrical and hydraulic systems.

Requirements include a formal technical training or 2 years of AG machinery knowledge, experience with parts books, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or 2 years AG machinery knowledge required.
• Experience with parts books is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Lifts up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Willing to work overtime and some weekends.
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills needed.
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-shop service and repairs at Dix, IL location.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems and other components.
• Work on Terragators, Rogators, Spra Coupe, Lexion combines, and Challenger tractors.
• May perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
• Occasional travel may be required.
